Put the Algae Away in a panty hose and place it in the filter. Choose a spot where the flow is as low is possible. The less flow, the better the product is devided. Shake once a week so that a little cloud appears. Repeat this as often as needed, till no string algae are left in your pond. This may take about four weeks. After the string algae have disappeared you can quit shaking the panty hose every week. Do not remove the the panty hose from the filter. Should string algae re-appear start repeating the above-mentioned procedure. This way, Algae Away is a year-round solution.
