Kata ExFungi is an medicine for pond fish and is active against fungi, monocellular parasites and white spot disease. In case of white spot disease the treatment should be repeated two to three times.
Probably the most well-known disease, caused by protozoa with cilia all around. It is very active. The young parasites penetrates through the mucus layer. White spot disease irritates the fish and the damage can cause bacterial infections.
The cure is more effective if the water temperature is raised till at least 26°C. Mix ExFungi in a bucket of water and divide evenly on the pond or quarantine. Make sure to aerate your ponds extra during the treatment. To indicate that the medicine has dissolved properly in the entire pond, the water will turn bleu. The bleu color will disappear in 1 – 2 days.

Warning:

Avoid contact with eyes and skin

Dangerous if taken internally

Keep out of reach from children

Wear plastic gloves or wash hands after use

Never apply in salt water

Never apply in case of damaged gills

Never combine ExFungi with other medicines or salt.

Stop feeding at least 24 hours before adding ExFungi

Aerate your pond or quarantin extra while using Exfungi

A minimum time margin of 20 days is to be considered between using Exfungi and other medicines.

Adding Exfungi can cause the fish to flash, grate or jump.

For safety you can add a net or lower the water level

Pond content:
Calculate the content of pond or quarantine correctly:
Length x width x depth.

Dosage / use:
1e day 20 ml for 1000 liters pond water
In case of white spot disease repeat treatment 2 till 3 times.
The time between two treatments depends on the water emperature:
25 C after 4 days, at 18 C after 6 days and at 10 C after 10 days.


Other animals in and around the pond:

Orfe and sturgeons can remain in the pond during treatment.

Be careful with your pets during treatment.

Equipment:
Charc coal filters, ozone and UV should be shut of during treatment and not to be re-activated till 3 days after the last treatment. Any present zeolite should be removed from the filters. We advise you to keep the filter in full working order during treatment in order to exterminate all parasites the may nest in the filters.

Storage:

After opening of the package ExFungi should be used within 6 months. Store at temperatures between 10 and 25 C. Keep out of reach from children.
